'Not Just Tourists – Edmonton'

We collect, sort and pack suitcases of medicines/medical supplies for delivery to developing countries. Persons traveling on business or vacation are provided with a suitcase of medicine/medical supplies, weighing no more than 10 kg, and deliver these much-needed supplies to doctors and clinics at their travel destinations.

We do not accept narcotics or any controlled substances listed in Schedules I to IV of the Canadian 'Controlled Drugs and Substances Act'.

The medicines need to be in their original unopened containers.

We accept:
• Prescription medicines such as antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, anti-virals, asthma puffers, blood pressure medications, diuretics, etc.
• Over-the-counter medicines for headaches, colds, allergies, and arthritic pain etc.
• Antiseptic, antibiotic, topical anaesthetics and lubricant ointments
• Condoms, birth control pills and personal hygiene items
• Supplies such as First Aid kits including bandages and swabs
• Disposable needles and syringes, examination gloves, masks, scalpels
• Wound-care kits and IV kits in sterile packaging
• Vitamins and minerals
• Wheel chairs, walkers, canes, crutches, prosthesis
• Medical uniforms and surgical linens
• Dental hygiene supplies and instruments
• Eyeglasses, sunglasses, eye patches
• Canadian Journal of Continuing Medical Education, Canadian Journal of Diagnosis as well as diagnostic text books
