Are you traveling to a developing country or know someone who is?

'Not Just Tourists - Edmonton' was founded in January 2005. We are patterned after Not Just Tourists in the Niagara Region, a highly successful program that has been in existence for more than a decade.

We are a volunteer-based not-for-profit project that collects surplus medicines and medical supplies for use in Cuba and other developing countries. Persons traveling on business or vacation deliver these much-needed supplies to doctors or medical facility at their travel destinations. Utilizing a suitcase enables quick delivery of medicines and medical supplies that may otherwise be considered not useable due to expiry dates or owing to environmental sensitive degradation on conventional shipping. This method ships up to 10 kg in a suitcase that is also left at the destination.
If you wish to participate in this project or wish to refer someone else to us who may want to participate, please contact ‘NJT - Edmonton’.

Countries that 'Not Just Tourists - Edmonton' has delivered to include Cuba, Dominican Republic, Haiti, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Peru, Kenya, Madagascar, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Cambodia.
